So, have been sooooo busy preping for an upcoming photoshoot. I have come across so many great shops and all of these human beings of all ages, so nicely put together. That is one of the main reasons why I even wanted to become a fashion blogger... To share my savvy. However, I can only half complete this mission, because my camera is missing!!! How can I give you a weekly show & tell experience, with no "show"?... *Lip pout* WHERE IS MY CAMERA?!?!?!?
I checked every possible place... My room? CHECK. Toy box? CHECK. Kitchen? Bathroom? Living room? Check... Check... And, double check. Nothing. Not even a re-chargable battery. Now what? I go to my phone, to see if my friends saw it. I don't have a lot of company, so I text my two closest friends. Both of them reply back: "SMH" (because they know that I misplace things that were just in my hands)and "no"... Which is when the OCD kicks in.
Now, I am tearing my room apart. Clothes everywhere. I don't know where else to look!!! About fifteen minutes into giving up, my phone rings. Its my dad. He tells me that I sound upset, so I explain the situation to him. His response is the icing on the cake... "Was it a Kodak camera?", he asked. I just looked at the phone for a second then responded, "Dad, where is my camera? He sighs. "Its broken. You had it in the baby's bag last week, I didn't know it was in there and I threw the bag on the floor. Don't worry, I am getting it fixed".
I was so mad at him for not telling me!!! But he is my dad, so what can I do?... There goes his father's day gift.

Buyer Be(wear)
Yesterday, I was mortified. I realized that the "diaper rash" I had been treating for two days is really a chemical burn!!!
I was helping my close friend, Issa move. We were unpacking the boxes for her son's room, and I noticed she had five un-opened boxes (and one 1/2 used box) of the new Pamper's Cruiser Dry Max. I didn't think anything of it. She gets most of her stuff in PA. where its a lot cheaper, and if there's a sale on diapers and she has the money, Issa will always buy bulk. I just didn't know where to put it all.
She told me to "leave that poison by the front door". Before I could comment, she explained to me how her son, Theo never got a rash until she used those diapers. Her mom called her and let her know that the new Pamper's Dry Max is giving children rashes that look like a chemical burn. I jumped up. "Oh my God! I have to change Brielle, right now!!!". Issa only had Huggies, and my baby's ultra sensitive bottom can't take those either. So, I had to run to the store and get some LUVS.
When I changed her I noticed that that rash had gotten worst. I had already went to my pediatrician when the rash first arrived and she recommended a medicine called Nystatin. I was a little nervous, so I called her. She told me what I already knew to do. "Keep using the medicine and if the rash doesn't get better with the new diaper, bring her in on monday".
The rash is better today!!! YAY! However, I am definitely about to contact the Pamper's company for a refund. And I want every parent to be mindful of these diapers. They haven't been recalled.. But they should. Also, PLEASE NOTE: yOU CAN STILL USE THE PAMPER'S BABY DRY, SWADDLERS, AND EVEN THE CRUISERS COMFORT FLEX... ITS ONLY THE NEW CRUISERS (DRY MAX).

When And Wear
Well, I am here and I'm ready!!!! So, buckle up your riding boots, strap up your stillettos and walk with me through the streets of NYC as I rebuild my styling career, raise my child and still manage to maintain a "so-called" social life. This blog will include my creativity expressed through styling and merchandising, but not just with clothes - interior design, baby/toddler couture, and urban/street fashion.
When and Wear will share what to wear, for when: Holidays, birthdays and other major events, or the park, a street fair - everyday wear, wherever you want to go, we'll share styles for baby girls and toddler boys, and the interdesigns of their rooms and houses. Stay tuned for bold designs, risky yet workable looks, and individuality!!!
